QUADRATO MOTOR TRAINING

QUADRATO MOTOR TRAINING

Quadrato Motor Training (QMT) is a sensorimotor training created by Patrizio Paoletti as part of his neuro-psycho-educational method.

Previous studies showed that QMT improves cognition functions, such as creative thinking, time perception, spatial cognition, and information processing. Moreover, these changes were associated with functional and structural brain modification, as well as molecular ones.

Currently, the RINED Neuroscientific Department investigates:

  • the electrophysiological, neuroanatomical, molecular, and behavioral effects of QMT among healthy children and adults, as well as in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative populations;
  • the electrophysiological activity during the QMT

The main instrument used to explore such activity is the electroencephalography (EEG), a non-invasive neuroscientific technique which allow to observe the electrical activity of cortical neurons and their reciprocal interaction and communication.

To take part in the research on QMT as a volunteer and/or for any other information related to the present research line, please send an email to the following address:
