NEUROSCIENCE

Our brain is plastic. Specific structured stimuli can support brain development and protect it from degenerative processes. This is the case of practices such as sensorimotor and mind-body training, meditative and mindful practices.

However, how do such practices affect our cognitive and psycho-emotional functioning?

What are their effects on health and well-being?

And what are the electrophysiological, neuroanatomical, and molecular mechanisms?

The scientific research conducted by the RINED Neuroscientific Department addresses these questions. Our goal is to better understand the dynamic and complex interaction between humans and environment; brain and movement; cognition, emotions, and actions.
