EMPATHY, ABSTRACTION AND INTEROCEPTION

EMPATHY, ABSTRACTION AND INTEROCEPTION

Every day we interact with the environment making new experiences. From these experiences, we learn information about the world around us and about ourselves. All this information is learned and stored in order to build conceptual representations of how the world is and to guide us in selecting the best behavior.

Currently, we are conducting research on the type of information stored in our conceptual system, the effect that they could have on empathy and how our body could influence or determine the contents of such knowledge.
