Lifelong learning is an ongoing intentional individual process aimed to develop new knowledge and skills in line with new social and/or work needs, both in the professional and personal field.

In this context, the RINED Department of Education and Didactics is particularly interested in research in the field of training and education of teachers and educators. In particular, the two main research lines are the development of soft skills and the acquisition of new and more effective and efficient assessment tools.
